Frank Cheely – Mr. Cheely was born in Hancock County, GA in 1939 and moved to Barrow County in 2002. Mr. Cheely is a retired National Guard Soldier and truck driver and his hobbies include farming and fishing. Mr. Cheely has served the on the Carl Council since 2010.

James (Jimmie) Shedd – Mr. Shedd was born in Barrow County, GA in 1952 and is a 1970 graduate of Winder High School. Mr. Shedd married Zita Wood Shedd in 1974 and they have one son and three grandchildren together. Mr. Shedd retired from Sears. Mr. Shedd loves spending time in the Georgia mountains. Mr. Shedd has served on the Carl Council since 2010.

Rebecca Knight – Mrs. Knight moved from Nahunta, GA to Carl in 1996 and has been married to a Carl native, Jonathan Knight since 1997. The two live on Mr. Knight’s family farm where he has lived all of his life. Mrs. Knight’s hobbies include gardening, playing pickle ball and volunteering with GA. Classic traveling softball organization. Mrs. Knight has been a real estate agent for 16 plus years and has served on the Carl Council since 2009. 

Billy Nix – Mr. Nix was born in Jackson County in 1942 and moved to Barrow County in 1975. Mr. Nix has been married to his wife, Linda, for 47 yrs.  Mr. Nix is a retired truck driver and has been on the Carl Council since 2018.
